As Pico's Chairman, Founder and CEO, Jarrod defines the company vision and leads the executive team on business strategy and execution. His responsibilities include interacting with clients and investors, reviewing and discussing product innovation and global expansion, and ensuring organizational stability. Most importantly, Jarrod is committed to listening to clients, a core principle responsible for Pico’s growth.
Jarrod has over 20 years of experience in institutional trading. Prior to founding Pico, Jarrod served as Global Head of Electronic Trading at Merrill Lynch, where he oversaw the business from its inception and was responsible for sales, trading, risk, execution service, product development and quantitative analytics for these products worldwide. Before working on Wall Street, Jarrod worked as a product engineer and conducted semiconductor research at Intel.
Jarrod is a member of the Yale School of Engineering Leadership Council and serves on the Operating Board for the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale (CITY), providing mentorship to Yale student entrepreneurs. Jarrod holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Yale University and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
As Pico's Global Chief Product Officer and Head of AMRS, Stacie leads the organization in defining and executing the product strategy as well as driving Pico’s product innovation, continued global expansion, revenue growth and scale through the products organization, which includes the global portfolio of infrastructure, connectivity, data, software and analytics serving the financial services industry.
Stacie brings three decades of exchange and financial technology experience to Pico. She has served as a global software executive and transformation leader of technology and services businesses. Prior to Pico, Stacie managed Nasdaq’s Corporate Solutions division, the global connectivity to Nasdaq’s markets, trading, compliance and risk applications, Nasdaq’s trade reporting platform, as well as other roles in the organization. She listens to clients and brings technological innovation and energy to her roles to optimize the businesses she’s responsible for while accelerating growth and enhancing the client experience.
Stacie serves on the Advisory Board for the College of Business and Economics at Towson University, where she earned a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Marketing.
As Pico's Global Chief Information Officer, Seetharam is the global technology leader of platform and network engineering, software engineering and corporate infrastructure. Seetharam drives efficiency by hiring high performance teams and promoting automation in build, deploy, deliver and support functions. He develops the strategy and vision for IT and engages with clients in understanding and potentially solving technology problems.
Seetharam brings over 20 years of experience to Pico. In his previous role, Seetharam served as the Head of Global Trading Technology at Citadel where he was responsible for leading focus on building trading systems supporting fundamental and quantitative strategies trading globally. Prior to Citadel, Seetharam was the CIO at Point72, responsible for driving technology transformation and innovation by deploying new technologies and new development methodologies. Earlier, he worked at SAC Capital as Co-CTO managing the Application Development stack, as well as the Front and Back Office Technology teams that he built during the initial years of SAC.
Seetharam attended Osmania and Bradely University, as well as receiving his M.B.A in Finance at The University of Connecticut School of Business.
As Pico’s Chief Financial Officer, Eric will oversee all financial operations of the firm and play an active role in shaping Pico’s future.
Eric brings over 25 years of financial experience to the Pico leadership team. Prior to joining Pico, Eric served as both Chief Financial Officer and subsequently Chief Executive Officer for American Car Center, a private equity-backed integrated chain of auto dealerships and captive finance company. Before joining American Car Center, Eric served as Senior Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Risk Officer at GATX, a publicly-traded global provider of railcar leasing and services, where he had numerous responsibilities, including treasury, M&A, investment analysis, enterprise risk management, investment risk management and corporate insurance. He also held seats on several executive committees and was an active voice on the leadership team. Eric has held leadership positions in various financial services firms and served on the board of Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance, a leading lessor of commercial aircraft engines.
Eric earned his B.S. in Business and Accounting at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and received his MBA in Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
As Pico’s General Counsel, Chief Administrative Officer & Corporate Secretary, Lauren is responsible for all aspects of the company’s legal function, providing critical support for Pico’s global operations and growth initiatives. Lauren also oversees corporate governance, compliance, human resources, corporate development and risk management.
Lauren has over 25 years of legal experience, including serving previously as the General Counsel of two public companies, VEREIT, Inc. and Revlon. She began her legal career at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson and the boutique litigation firm of Stillman & Friedman, after which she served nine years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York and then worked in house at MacAndrews & Forbes. Lauren has extensive experience overseeing legal and compliance matters, managing the day-to-day functioning of a legal department to advance corporate strategy and working with management and boards of directors to institute appropriate corporate governance processes. Prior to her legal career, Lauren was an accountant and worked at Coopers & Lybrand.
Lauren received her undergraduate degree in economics with a major in accounting from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from Columbia Law School.
As Pico's Head of EMEA and Global Client Services, Frank oversees EMEA business management, commercial strategy and global delivery management to support Pico’s regional expansion and revenue growth and is responsible for global operations, delivery and client success management.
Frank brings over 25+ years of trading technology experience in the Capital Markets industry. Prior to joining Pico, Frank was Managing Director and Head of Global Technology Services at ITG, a multinational agency brokerage and financial markets technology firm, where he led the Global Technology Services organization responsible for Trading Support, Infrastructure, Market Data, Quality Assurance, and Vendor Management. Prior to ITG, Frank was Executive Vice President and Head of Americas Client Services at Reuters where he was responsible for all customer support functions across North and South America including Relationship Management, Customer Help Desk, Technical Account Management and Client Site Engineering.
Frank received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado and his M.B.A. from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business.
As Pico’s Head of APAC, Dr. Zhou is responsible for driving expansion efforts in Asia Pacific while overseeing all sales, operations, and engineering throughout the region.
Dr. Zhou has more than 15 years of financial markets industry experience and was most recently Partner and Senior Managing Director for IHS Markit (now S&P Global), where her team was responsible for significant growth throughout the region, including the launch in specific key countries such as China, while managing senior client relationships in all APAC markets. Prior to working for IHS Markit, she served in various leadership positions at Bloomberg, such as Company Director and Regional Business Manager for its global fixed income and trading solutions in Hong Kong and New York.
Dr. Zhou holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and earned a Financial Technology Option certificate from the MIT School of Management. She obtained her B.S. degree from Fudan University in China.
